Jean Beads

Jean Beads SJF Glass Studio is all about creative, unique fused glass. I am available for custom pieces as well I have always in into art one way or another.

I branched out from painting and pastel work to jewellery making. I wanted my pieces to have a very unique touch so I took a lamp work class and started my adventure making my own glass beads! Of course working with the torch wasn't enough. After one class on fused glass I was hooked! I use to be someone afraid of lighting a match, now I own two kilns, a torch kit and wet belt sander! It's amazing

what can happen when you find your passion! While on mat leave in 2014 I was able to grow as an artist. Begin back at work has made it a lot harder to find time to make it down to my studio but I sneak down to work when I can. Fusing right now is a hobby that I would like to expand. I currently have a few pieces in the Lacombe Art Gallery on Main.
