This is called a 'shadow line' installation. Instead of the stair treads and risers fitting tightly to the adjacent wall, you leave a perfectly even gap, about 1/8". Adds a neat, modern definition for some homes.

Meer Carpentry Ltd. is a small, detail-driven carpentry company serving the Halifax Regional Municipality.

The business is built around the work where precision matters most: stairs, custom millwork, cabinet installation and architectural finish carpentry.

There's one Craftsman, one point of contact:
Customers work directly with the owner/operator from consultation and estimating through fabrication and installation.

Projects are scheduled deliberately so quality, communication and attention to detail stay at the centre of the process.
