Sliding Closet Door Repair & Reinstallation

This customer had purchased a sliding closet door kit and started the installation themselves, but was having issues with the doors sitting tightly against the jambs. After inspecting the installation, it was found the jambs were out of level and the header had a significant sag in the middle.

We were able to carefully remove and reuse the existing trims, although quite a bit of cutting, adjusting, and fine tuning was required to correct everything properly. The jambs and header were adjusted accordingly, allowing the doors to close and operate perfectly.

The finished result looks completely original — you would never know any repairs or modifications had been made, aside from everything now fitting the way it should.

Sometimes it’s better to hire a pro.

We were called in after someone removed heat runs and cold air returns—hurting airflow and efficiency. We brought in our HVAC contractor to properly assess the system.

Once the ceiling was opened up, we rebuilt the ductwork and (unexpectedly) found nearly 200 walnuts hidden in the ceiling 🐿️😳
We also discovered the rim board had never been insulated, so we sealed it with closed-cell spray foam and added batt insulation for extra R-value.

After the repairs, we refinished the ceiling and repainted—now everything runs efficiently and looks like new again.

🐷🏡 A New Home for Stella!

We had the pleasure of building a custom home for a local farm’s beloved pig—what we like to call a true “Pig Palace”!The building was framed and sided with beautiful rough-cut lumber, and the customer requested a curved entrance to add a touch of flair. A red steel roof completes the look, combining durability with charm.
We also installed a pressure-treated fence to keep Stella safe while giving plenty of opportunity for farm visitors to peek in and say hello.

We think Stella is going to absolutely love her new home!
