🎨 Why do we still love to colour?

There’s something wonderfully simple about colouring.

No deadlines. No rules. No need to be “good” at art. Just a blank page, some colours, and a little time to yourself.

In a world full of screens, notifications, and constant distractions, colouring gives us permission to slow down and simply make something.

Your dinosaur can be purple. Your flowers can be blue. You can stay perfectly inside the lines or completely ignore them. 😄

And maybe that's exactly why colouring is so satisfying.

I wrote a Colour Me Merry Substack post about why this simple hobby continues to bring so much joy to both kids and adults and what I hope to explore here as I build this little colouring community.
