Your peonies are done flowering and the leaves are flopping all over the place looking like a mess. Every instinct says grab the shears and tidy them up. Don't. Cutting that foliage back now is one of the most common ways gardeners accidentally wreck next year's flowers. Those tired-looking leaves are doing something critical for the plant right up until fall, and there's a specific point on the calendar when it's finally safe to cut. When that is, and why it matters so much, is in the comments.

I’m going to call ours this year “ jam packed”.

Using multiple trailers, wave petunias, gerbera daisies added fullness for around the base of a birds of paradise for height! And can’t forget some cute little bird solar lights to add in some sparkle at night!

I must say having this fullness not seeing the soil has really livened this planter up!

Can’t wait to see yours!
