Don't take a chance on a failed inspection by the building inspector or a geo engineer not signing off on your deck build. Do it right the first time!
This deck had concrete pads and deck blocks installed which the Geotech engineer refused to accept due to its proximity to a steep slope. Luckily we were able to install 5 galvanized screw piles, through the deck, deep enough into the bank to make sure neither the deck or the hillside go for a ride.
