ow that you know what AntiEtch™ does, here’s what it actually looks like.

This is the application process...the step that helps give your natural stone an extra layer of protection against everyday etching.

Because yes, you can have the marble you love and peace of mind about actually living on it.

Incase you missed our last post on Antietch, this would be a good time to go back to it for AntiEtch 101.

Then save this one for later, especially if marble is somewhere on your moodboard.

Some days aren't about us, and today is one of them.

We're taking time to remember, listen, and learn, and to honour the Survivors, families, and communities who carry this day with them.

Reconciliation isn't something that happens only once a year.

It's built slowly, through the way we listen, show up, and treat one another every day.

Wherever you are today, we hope you find a moment to pause, reflect, and keep the conversation going long after September 30.

A kitchen that makes a statement without sacrificing how it needs to work.

This installation features Calacatta Borghini Marble by Hari Stones, carried throughout the space for a cohesive elevated finish.

Our Victoria team brought the material to life with precise fabrication and installation, balancing the visual impact of the stone with the practical demands of a working kitchen.

It’s a great example of what happens when the material, fabrication and overall design work together from the start.

It’s true... upgrading your bathroom won’t solve all your problems.

But a really good shower at the end of a bad day certainly helps. 😌

In this space, Dekton and Pearl work together to make everyday functionality feel a little more luxurious, durable, and easy-to-live-with.

Because sometimes the upgrade isn’t about changing your whole life.

It's about making your everyday life a little nicer.

Sundays call for somewhere warm, cozy, and very much not in a hurry. 🔥

A fireplace has a way of becoming the spot everyone naturally gathers around and this modern fireplace is a pretty good example.

Clean lines, a beautiful surface, and a feature that brings warmth to the room without overwhelming the space.

Thinking about your next home project? Save this one for the moodboard. 👀

Meet Solid Surface 👋

A non-porous, versatile material made from a blend of resins and minerals, Solid Surface can be fabricated into clean, seamless-looking surfaces for countertops, vanity tops, tub surrounds, shower walls and more.

On a countertop, it creates a smooth, streamlined finish. Around a tub, it offers a clean way to carry that same look across the space while keeping the design cohesive.

It’s a material with plenty of possibilities, and is one of the options we offer at Colonial Countertops.

A waterfall end, with a little more personality. 👀

This Cambria Skara Brae installation took a different approach to the classic waterfall look.

The movement in the stone, the way the pattern carries through, and that unexpected finish all come together to make this island feel anything but ordinary.

A reminder that you don’t always have to follow the standard approach to make a statement.

Before your new countertop makes it into your kitchen, there’s a whole lot of precision happening behind the scenes. 📏

Our template process captures the exact measurements and details of your space so your countertop can be fabricated to fit it properly.

It’s one of those steps you may not see, but you’ll definitely appreciate when everything comes together.
