BALA SIGNS MoU WITH MAIKARABELO MOVEMENT TO ADVANCE LOCAL ECONOMIC PARTICIPATION

The Botswana Association of Local Authorities ( BALA) and the Maikarabelo Movement signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at strengthening collaboration in local enterprise development, local production and active citizenship.

The partnership positions local governments as an important partner in driving local economic development, creating opportunities for local businesses and strengthening community participation in Botswana's economy.

The MoU will provide a platform for joint initiatives that promote local production, local enterprises, job creation and greater economic participation by citizens.

For BALA, the partnership reinforces the principle that local government is not only about service delivery,it is also about building stronger, more resilient and economically active communities.

Local Government. Local Enterprise.
Local Production. Local Opportunity.

Together, we build Botswana.
