Orange Botswana Foundation Launches 91st Digital School at Mahube Primary School
Today the Orange Botswana Foundation launched its 91st Digital School at Mahube Primary School in Francistown,marking another significant milestone in its commitment to advancing digital inclusion and transforming education in Botswana.
The launch brought together education stakeholders, community representatives, school leadership, teachers and learners to celebrate the expansion of access to digital learning tools and resources.
The Assistant Minister of Local Government and Traditional Affairs Hon Ignatius Moswaane delivered the keynote address,highlighting the importance of partnerships and digital innovation in strengthening education and creating opportunities for learners to thrive in an increasingly digital world.
Through the Digital Schools Programme, the Orange Botswana Foundation continues to work in partnership with the Ministry of Child welfare and Basic Education and the Ministry of Local Government and Traditional Affairs to bridge the digital divide and provide learners, particularly those in underserved communities, with access to technology-enabled education.
The launch of the 91st Digital School reinforces Orange Botswana’s commitment to using technology to create meaningful social impact and equip the next generation with the digital skills needed for the future.
