🌴 A Yard Cleanup Revealed an Unexpected Surprise

Sometimes property maintenance is about more than simply making your yard look good.

Recently, we had cleanup work done around a coconut tree on our family property in Nassau. There was a significant amount of fallen coconuts, leaves and yard debris around the area.

The cleanup was completed, and afterward I noticed a centipede around the property. 🦂

I couldn't say for certain where it came from, but given the amount of debris and vegetation that had just been disturbed, I wondered if it may have been hiding in the area and been disturbed during the cleanup.

It was a good reminder that accumulated vegetation and yard debris can provide hiding places for insects and other unwanted pests.

This is especially something to keep in mind when children or seniors regularly spend time around a property.

🌿 The result? A much cleaner and more manageable area around the coconut trees.

For this project, Bahamas Property & Landscaping coordinated with another local landscaping company that had the truck and equipment needed to complete the cleanup.
