To celebrate this great occasion we decided to release VESTIGES - 30 YEARS OF RITUAL SOUND (1996–2026), a compilation with well known, unreleased and rare tracks.

THIS MORN' OMINA – VESTIGES - 30 YEARS OF RITUAL SOUND (1996–2026)
Formed in 1996, This Morn’ Omina stands as one of the most enduring and uncompromising forces within the dark ritual and industrial music landscape.
For three decades, the Belgian collective has forged a sonic path where ceremonial rhythm, esoteric philosophy, and electronic aggression converge into a singular musical universe.
From its inception, This Morn’ Omina rejected conventional genre boundaries.
Drawing inspiration from ancient mysticism, Middle Eastern modalities, martial industrial, EBM, and hypnotic techno structures.
The project quickly developed a sound that was both archaic and futuristic—music that felt less composed than invoked.
Percussive sequences, mantric vocals, and relentless analog pulses became the foundation of a ritualistic language aimed not at entertainment, but at transformation.
This Morn’ Omina has established an unmistakable identity within the international underground. Releases such as 7 Years of Famine (including the first club-hit One-Eyed Man) , Le Serpent Blanc – Le Serpent Rouge, and Les Passages Jumeaux revealed a project in constant evolution—refining its ceremonial focus while intensifying its physical and spiritual impact.
Live performances became rites in their own right: confrontational, and immersive, emphasizing repetition and trance.
Rather than following trends, This Morn’ Omina consistently pursued depth and intent.
The project’s ethos is rooted in the belief that sound is a tool—capable of awakening dormant forces and reconnecting the listener with primal consciousness.
Over the years, This Morn’ Omina has remained fiercely independent in spirit, collaborating selectively and maintaining a strong connection to the ritual industrial lineage while continuously refining its own sonic vocabulary.
Each release functions as a cycle inside a trilogy (hegira, nyan, kundalini,...) , or as stand-alone in a larger, ongoing body of work.
In 2026, This Morn’ Omina marks 30 years of existence—three decades of unwavering dedication to ritual sound.
Vestiges is not a retrospective victory lap, but a reaffirmation of purpose.
The fire that was ignited in 1996 continues to burn.
This Morn’ Omina is not a relic of an era.
It is a living current - still unfolding.
