Une autre façon de préparer la forêt au climat de demain !
Venez marcher en ̂t avec ceux qui en feront l’avenir : les élèves et étudiants de l’UFA de Bavay (France), de l’ITGS de Gembloux (Belgique) et de l’Université Mendelova (République tchèque). Ils vous feront découvrir le projet européen ForDiL (Forest Digital Learning), auquel ils participent depuis presque 3 ans.

Continuous Cover Forestry, Marteloscope, Travailloscope… Do these words sound obscure to you? Don’t worry! Behind this jargon lies a digital innovation designed to help people learn silviculture practices independently.

A new way to prepare forests for tomorrow’s climate!
Come and walk through the with those who will shape its future: students from the UFA of Bavay (France), the ITGS of Gembloux (Belgium) and Mendel University (Czech Republic). They will introduce you to the European project ForDiL (Forest Digital Learning), in which they have been participating for almost three years.

➡️ Join us on 27 March for an educational forest walk open to everyone, organised in collaboration with the Office national des forêts as part of the “Forêt en scène” festival. A great opportunity to see the forest from a different perspective and meet the foresters of tomorrow!

ForDiL: an app for today’s foresters
Continuous cover forestry helps strengthen forest resilience in the face of climate change. And the best way to understand this approach is through hands-on practice in the forest, dealing with real situations.

📱 ForDiL, the new self-guided training app, has been designed to support you directly on dedicated sites, enabling you to:
– observe
– analyse
– test management decisions in the field

👥 Developed with field practitioners and European partners, ForDiL is aimed at forest professionals and future professionals wishing to strengthen their skills in situ.
