What lies ahead?
Designing is often not a straight road. Sint-Medardushoeve has proven to us that this process in existing buildings is not linear either. During the process we could count on different methods (either in pencil, camera or drone) of reading the farm. That aided us to come up with a thorough assessment of what to keep, what to replace, what to transform.
And transformation happened on our own assessments as well.
Ideas we had long put on hold sometimes pop up again and start to make more sense now that the design process is reaching the end. At the same time, features we had settled since the beginning now make even more sense, as we realized they enhance what’s most important in the building.
Curious to know what this beautiful farm will become? (We definitely are!)
