MAARCH MAARCH stands for architecture, urbanism and landscape design. It was founded in 2008 by Andrea Carlesso, Steven Geeraert and Stefano Peluso. www.maarch.eu

Starting from a multidisciplinary approach MAARCH acts/works as a permanent laboratory where pragmatic research on urban densities, use of space and social practices lays the foundations for the development of innovative forms of housing, living together and use of space in the contemporary city and its surrounding landscape. The office gathers rich professional experience in the fields of urbanis

m, (master)planning, urban morphology and landscape. MAARCH provides to both public and private partners full design and consulting services in architecture, interior, urban and landscape design. By collaborating with specialists in other disciplines (engineering and techniques, sustainability, mobility, communication and participation) MAARCH constantly enriches and enlarges its knowledge. This network of specialists gives the office the opportunity to compose a taylor-made multidisciplinary team for every project from early stages onwards. MAARCH has offices in Italy and Belgium.

MAARCH is een kleinschalig dynamisch bureau voor publieke ruimte, landschap en stedenbouw. Door een groeiend aantal opdrachten versterken wij graag ons team.

Ons portfolio is divers en gevarieerd. Werk je graag mee aan de overkapping van de Antwerpse ring of het ontwerp van de straat van de toekomst in Sint-Niklaas? Spreekt de heraanleg van de omgeving van de Sint-Lambertuskerk in Ekeren je meer aan of het ontwerp en de aanleg van een sociale woonwijk met park in Wevelgem? _STW_Winner! [EN] Happy to announce that our team has won the competition for the refurbishment of the garden city in Schoten for De Ideale Woning!

[NL] Verheugd te kunnen meedelen dat ons team de wedstrijd voor de herinrichting van de Tuinwijk te Schoten i.o.v. De Ideale Woning gewonnen heeft!

Het project voor de herinrichting bevat de renovatie van 8 sociale tuinwijkwoningen, de nieuwbouw van 12 eensgezinswoningen en 12 appartementen.

Het ontwerp is een toepassing op het gegeven van de valse tweeling. Om te voldoen aan het gevraagde programma werden de nieuwe gebouwen lichtjes verschaald, uitgerokken, platgedrukt... Oud en nieuw worden in materialiteit bij mekaar gebracht, de oorspronkelijke gebouwen worden hier en daar voorzien van hedendaagse materialen en uitvoeringstechnieken en de nieuwe gebouwen worden opgetrokken in eenzelfde kleurpalet als de oorspronkelijke gebouwen.
