Sometimes, business doesn’t begin in a boardroom—it begins in everyday life.

I’ve known Mr. Khalilur Rahman, owner of Opekka Residence, a leading television manufacturer in Bangladesh and a respected member of FBCCI, for many years. Our relationship was always personal, built on mutual respect and goodwill.

One night, I faced an unexpected issue with my and reached out to him. What started as a simple request for help turned into a long and engaging conversation. As we spoke, the discussion naturally moved beyond into elevators—design, performance, safety, and what would best suit his residence.

There was no plan, no intention—just a genuine conversation.
But sometimes, that’s all it takes.

Alhamdulillah, that very conversation led to something meaningful. I’m pleased to share that we secured the elevator order for his residence yesterday.

A simple reminder: never underestimate the power of relationships and honest conversations. Opportunities often come quietly.

After manufacturing each elevator, our standard practice is to fully assemble and test the entire unit at our factory. This step ensures perfect alignment, smooth functionality, and adherence to our quality standards before the unit reaches the project site.

Alhamdulillah, it feels really amazing today. Growing up together, Miraj Vai and I had an amazing childhood together, playing football, cricket, and many other outdoor games that molded our relationship and our memories. Even though life has brought us to different phases and responsibilities, our bond has not diminished.

It truly means a lot that Miraj Vai confirmed an order for one elevator unit for his residential development today. As a reminder of how far we've come from those carefree childhood days to constructing our futures with respect and trust, not just as a business move.

Today is a wonderful occasion for us. This young man is not just a good friend of mine, but his father has known my father for a long time. Our families have had a deep tie for many years.

One elevator became two, linked not just by business but also by trust passed down from one brother to another.

This February, we supplied a unit elevator for his younger brother, who trusted us from the start. Months passed, and the elevator became a part of their daily routine—smooth, dependable, and admired by everyone at home.

By the conclusion of the year, the eldest brother approached us with a smile. He also needs an elevator—not because of marketing or cost, but because his younger brother spoke highly of us.
