Hi Yeppoon and surrounds! This isn't an ad. This a post from the heart.
Last weekend, unfortunately somebody baited and "unalived" my beautiful big girl Violet. I rescued Violet when she was only one. She was meant to be a pigging dog... But she wouldn't hurt a fly. So I adopted her, and she has been my world for 12 years now. I am estranged from 95% of my family. But she never left me, she was my big beautiful rock. Holding me together more than I even knew.
It's a very big adjustment personally. Not having my sweet girl anymore is the hardest thing I have ever faced, among many many losses over the years. Every noise, every movement in my peripherals. I think it's my big smiley girl.
She lived a life full of trips, adventures, car rides, treats, beach swims, meeting great people along the way, and most importantly, she was loved. She was a Great Dane x Neo Mastiff. Violet lived a happy, long life. But she was so healthy, she had years of life left.
I would like to say a massive thank you to my clients, for being so understanding and caring in this difficult time. I know there are still a few I havn't had the chance to re-organise yet. But please bear with me, I won't let you down.
Today, a lovely client with a huge heart gifted me some beautiful flowers in a Vase. I have used that as part of her little memorial with her collar. And another little snap shot of the two of us just being us.
Thank you Yeppoon and surrounds for the incredible support. And taking the time to read this. We really do have a special community here.
Rest In Peace baby girl 💜.
