BATHROOM DESIGN | MATERIAL & DETAIL
I designed this bathroom as a celebration of materiality, with every surface and detail carefully considered to create a space that feels warm, timeless and individual.
The custom vanity, crafted from richly veined natural stone, forms the sculptural centrepiece of the room. Integrated stone basins are paired with warm aged-bronze tapware and handcrafted glazed tiles, creating a palette inspired by natural landscapes and water.
From the textured ceramic feature wall to the detailing of the stone and joinery, each element was selected to bring depth, warmth and character to the space while maintaining a calm and cohesive interior.
A bathroom where craftsmanship, natural materials and everyday rituals come together.

BEFORE YOU BUY | PRE-PURCHASE ARCHITECTURAL ADVICE
Found a property you love — but you're already thinking about what you would change?

Before you buy, it’s worth understanding whether the home can actually be renovated, extended or adapted in the way you imagine.

My Pre-Purchase Architectural Advisory Service gives you an architectural perspective on a property before you commit. I can review the home, identify opportunities and potential constraints, and help you understand what may be possible.

Depending on the property, this can include:
• Renovation and extension potential
• Opportunities to improve the existing layout
• Planning and site constraints
• DA or CDC approval pathways
• Accessibility and future-living considerations
• Potential budget implications

Sometimes a property has far more potential than it first appears. Other times, site or planning constraints can make the changes you have in mind difficult or costly.
The aim is to give you a clearer picture before you make one of your biggest financial decisions — so you can buy with greater confidence and a better understanding of what the property could become.

If you're considering buying a property and would like architectural advice before making an offer or committing to the purchase, get in touch.

HOME TRANSFORMATION | GYMEA BAY
Every home has a story waiting to be uncovered.
When this young family found this property in Gymea Bay, they looked beyond the existing two-bedroom house and recognised the opportunity to create a modern five-bedroom family home designed for the next chapter of their lives.
I designed the transformation to make the most of the property’s potential while responding carefully to the sloping site. The new living spaces open to the outdoors, strengthening the connection between the home and its landscape and creating light-filled spaces for everyday family life.
What began as a modest two-bedroom house has been transformed into a generous contemporary home — demonstrating the value of looking beyond what a property is today and imagining what it could become.

ACCESSIBLE DESIGN | HOME MODIFICATION
Architecture has the ability to improve everyday life in meaningful ways.
This home modification project was designed for a wheelchair user requiring a ceiling-mounted hoist system, extensive storage and improved accessibility within the bedroom.
Rather than treating accessibility as an addition to the space, the design integrates the hoist, custom joinery and storage into one considered architectural solution.
When not in use, the ceiling-mounted hoist is discreetly concealed within a dedicated joinery compartment, maintaining clean lines and a calm, residential character. Full-height custom joinery provides practical storage, conceals equipment and creates a cohesive backdrop to the room.
The result is a bedroom designed to support independence, dignity and everyday living while retaining the warmth and comfort of a home.
Accessibility and good design should never be mutually exclusive.

Heritage Alteration & Addition | Lavender Bay
A thoughtful alteration and addition to a Victorian terrace in Lavender Bay.
I worked on the design of this project to transform the existing attached dwelling through a carefully considered rear extension, internal reconfiguration and landscape improvements — creating a light-filled contemporary home while respecting the character of the surrounding Conservation Area.
The new rear addition introduces natural light through a large circular skylight and strengthens the connection between the kitchen, dining, courtyard and garden. The result is a calm and functional living environment that brings contemporary family living into the existing heritage setting.

Contemporary Dual Occupancy | Caringbah South
I designed this contemporary duplex to challenge the typical perception of duplex development. Rather than creating a mirrored building with repetitive forms, the design focuses on achieving the scale, rhythm and character of a large family home that sits comfortably within the surrounding streetscape.
Through varied built forms, articulated façades, layered materials and integrated landscaping, the two dwellings are expressed as individual homes while maintaining a cohesive architectural language. The composition breaks down the overall building mass, creating depth, visual interest and a softer relationship with neighbouring properties.
Natural stone, timber-look cladding, crisp white forms and carefully considered planting work together to create a warm and welcoming street presence.
The project demonstrates how thoughtful architectural design can provide increased housing opportunities while respecting the character, scale and amenity of an established residential neighbourhood.

A carefully considered renovation of a heritage-listed three-storey terrace in Kirribilli.
I designed this renovation with a focus on simplifying and streamlining the internal layout while enhancing amenity, functionality and natural light throughout the home. The design sought to respect the building's heritage significance while creating contemporary living spaces suited to modern family life.
Through thoughtful planning and refined detailing, the renovation balances the character of the original terrace with a calm and timeless interior palette.
