The stage is set for an action-packed Whyalla Netball Association Grand Final Day this Saturday!

Congratulations to every team that has earned its place in the Grand Finals—an outstanding achievement after a fantastic season.

Mental Health Matters
Last week, some of the Aquest team attended a Speak & Share Workplace Session hosted by Career Employment Group as part of the Mental Health Matters program.

It was a great opportunity to have open and honest conversations about mental health, learn how we can better support the people around us, and build confidence to check in when someone might be doing it tough.

Creating workplaces where people feel comfortable speaking up and looking out for one another is something we’re proud to support.

A big thank you to CEG for hosting the session and to Ben and Abbey from Speak & Share for creating such a welcoming and engaging environment.

Celebrating Success in Hydrogen Racing

Dash and Adam had a great time this week attending the Mayor’s Reception for the Aussie Energies Hydrogen Racing Team, celebrating an incredible achievement after the team took out the win!

Aquest was proud to be a sponsor of the team and to support such an exciting project showcasing innovation, teamwork and hydrogen technology.

It’s fantastic to see a team with local support achieving such a great result, and even better to have the opportunity to celebrate their success here in Whyalla.

Hard work pays off!

Dakoda started his electrical apprenticeship with Aquest as a teenager and has grown into a skilled and valued electrician. Now, he has reached another major milestone—buying his first home!

At Aquest, we love seeing our employees succeed, both at work and in their personal lives. Dakoda’s journey is a great example of what dedication, commitment and hard work can achieve.

It’s the end of a long day, and Dakoda has just clocked off another shift at the steelworks working hard as a local sparky, like so many in our Whyalla community do every single day

But tonight is different… he doesn’t just finish work

He comes home as a HOMEOWNER

There’s something incredibly rewarding about seeing a young local put in the hours, save consistently, and reach the milestone of buying their very first home

👀 Have you spotted Whyalla's newest digital advertising board yet?

You'll find it on the corner of Playford Avenue and Broadbent Terrace (Wanderers), and our team was proud to be behind the scenes helping bring it to life.

⚡ Last week, the Aquest crew completed the electrical connection work to get the new Gawk digital advertising board powered up and ready to go.

It's always great to be involved in projects that contribute to the local community and showcase the work happening around Whyalla. A big shout-out to our team for another job well done! 👏

Great conversations. New connections. Exciting opportunities.

Our team had a fantastic time attending the Tactic Conference in Port Augusta, connecting with passionate business owners, industry professionals and community leaders from across the region.

Events like this are a great reminder of the strength of South Australia's business community and the value of building genuine relationships. We enjoyed plenty of positive conversations and look forward to turning those new connections into future collaborations.
