🛁 Richmond bathroom/euro laundry project 💦

Some projects really test you as a builder.

This Richmond renovation was definitely one of them. From issues with plans and permits to uncovering hidden problems once we stripped everything back to the bones, it felt like every stage brought a new challenge.

There were plenty of moments where I wondered, “Why do I put myself through this?” But that’s the reality of renovation business or any business for that matter!

The difference is, we don’t cut corners. We work through every challenge properly, because that’s what our clients deserve.

Standing back and looking at the finished result reminds us exactly why we do it. Every setback, every long day, and every problem solved was worth it.

A huge thank you to the team at Better Bathrooms & Kitchens and, of course, the Dws BuildingCo team for helping bring this Richmond renovation to life.

While the layout remained the same, this bathroom has been completely transformed into a modern and functional space with premium finishes throughout.

• Wall-hung vanity with LED under-lighting
• Recessed shaving cabinet with LED lighting
• Freestanding bath
• Window reveal converted into a practical shelf feature

Theatre Room feature wall

From a completely open theatre room to a fully enclosed space designed for comfort, style, and functionality.

This project features sleek wall panelling throughout, creating a modern and seamless finish. The custom barn door has been carefully integrated into the panelling design, allowing the wall to flow beautifully while maintaining easy access to the room.

To complete the look, LED strip lighting has been installed within the ceiling, adding a subtle feature that creates a warm atmosphere and enhances the overall feel of the space.

This kitchen has gone from being stuck in the 1990s to becoming a timeless centrepiece and true oasis of the home. From the layout and cabinetry through to the finishes and lighting, every detail was designed to create a space that feels modern, functional and built to last.

A massive transformation that has completely changed the feel of the house. 🏡✨
