From the outside, this heater looked fairly normal.

💧 A small leak underground can turn into a big problem if it’s ignored.

Not every burst pipe is obvious. Sometimes the only signs are a constantly wet patch, unusually green grass, or a higher-than-normal water bill.

In this case, the leak was located beneath a concrete footpath. Once exposed, the damaged section of pipe was repaired, restoring the water service and preventing further water loss.

Keep an eye out for these warning signs:
💦 Wet areas that don’t dry out
🌱 Patches of grass growing much faster than the surrounding lawn
📈 An unexplained increase in your water bill
🔊 The sound of running water when no taps are on

The sooner a leak is repaired, the less chance there is of wasted water, property damage, or the problem becoming more expensive to fix.
