A power point should **never be hot to touch.**

If you notice a power point or plug becoming warm or hot, it's a warning sign that shouldn't be ignored. Heat is often caused by overloaded circuits, loose electrical connections, damaged wiring, or faulty appliances. Left unchecked, these issues can become a serious fire risk.

Many homeowners don't realise that smoke alarms only last 10 years. Even if they still beep when you press the test button, the internal sensors can become less reliable over time, putting your home and family at risk.

Here's a quick reminder:
🏠 Check the manufacture date on your smoke alarm.
✅ Test your alarms every month.
🔋 Replace batteries (if applicable) as recommended.
⏰ Replace the entire smoke alarm once it reaches 10 years of age.
