The best way to treat w**ds and grubs in your lawn is to prevent them 👍

Pre-emergent herbicides such as Spartan stop a wide range of grassy w**ds before they ever pop up in your lawn while Quarterback is both a treatment and preventative insecticide that treats army worm, sod webworm, black beetle and more 🐛🐛

Rather than battling w**ds and grubs once they have arrived, using preventative products makes it much easier to maintain a lush green lawn year round.

We have very exotic opening hours and we often get asked what do we do when the shop is closed? 🤔

I'm honestly not 100% sure, it seems to change everyday. Here is a sample from today where we focused on getting some steps in 🚶‍♂️ 🚶‍♀️

Role: General warehouse duties, picking + packing products

Are you a reliable individual with attention to detail? Do you have a couple of full days or half days a week/fortnight free? If this is you, we may be a match made in heaven.

We are seeking a reliable individual to help us with general warehouse duties and picking + packing orders a few days a week. We offer a flexible work schedule depending on your availability as well as a competitive pay structure ($25-$35ph).

No experience necessary, all training provided.

Flickw**d... if you have a powerful back just get down there and pull them out, just try not to touch the leaf as the seeds will launch all over the place 🚀🚀

If your back isn't as powerful as it once was you can use a broadleaf herbicide ideally with a surfactant. Bow and Arrow + Wetter600 works well and is safe on pretty much all lawn varieties 👍

Should you be applying products to your lawn just before it rains 🤔

Well... it depends.

Soil based products are absolutely fine to apply prior to rain, this includes kelp, humic acid and wetting agent. Foliar products on the other hand work best when applied to a dry lawn and left to dry, many herbicides and liquid fertilisers fit into this category.

Follow the application guide for the product you are using to ensure you get the best possible result 👍

Flick w**d is easy to identify as it launches seeds as soon as you touch it. Cool to see but not so cool if you're trying to get it out of your lawn.

If you have a couple here and there just pull them out carefully. If you have loads throughout your lawn and your back just isn't what it use to be, you can use a selective herbicide such as Bow and Arrow 👍

✅️ Safe on buffalo, couch, kikuyu, zoysia and more.
