This is a cowl for a flue ...
15 cm across...
It SHOULD be clear of soot and creosote to work effectively.
This one from today was so blocked, the only gap in the build up was the size of a 20c piece.
The entire flue and cowl have been cleaned.
NOW...
Needless to say the woodburning stove is burning cleanly, and producing heat.
CREOSOTE AND SOOT BUILD UP IS A HAZARD !
