Exclusion Fencing Grants 👇🏻
Available funding -
👍🏻$3 million is available to fund grants under the Scheme.
👍🏻Each grant can be up to $5,000 for each kilometre of eligible exclusion fencing, up to a maximum of 50kms ($250,000).
👍🏻Funding must be matched by a minimum 50% co-contribution from the applicant.
Grants are subject to the availability of funding and applying for a grant is no guarantee that funding will be approved.
Eligible projects
To be eligible for funding, projects must:
👍🏻construct exclusion fencing on the boundary of a property located in an eligible rural area in a way that will reduce the predation of livestock by wild dogs; and
take no longer than 3 years to carry out and complete.
To be eligible, you must -
👍🏻be the landholder of a business involving grazing livestock (cattle, goats or sheep) in an eligible rural area
👍🏻hold an Australian Business Number
be able to demonstrate that you:
can provide a co-contribution of at least half the cost of your project
👍🏻have suffered significant loss of income as a result of the predation of livestock by wild dogs
have adequate experience or qualifications and a reasonable prospect of successfully completing your project.

With $3 million in funding, we’re helping eligible landholders build exclusion fencing to protect their livestock, reduce losses and keep pests at bay.
