🚧 PROJECT UPDATE NO. 1 🚧
Awning Extension Works – Industrial Premise | Paget, QLD
KSG Civil and Construction, in partnership with Key Solutions Group, is currently delivering awning extension works at an industrial premises in Paget, QLD.
This project is being completed in close collaboration with the client and tenant to ensure strict site safety requirements are maintained while minimising disruption to critical operational areas.
✅ Completed Works:
• Electrical isolation of existing site lighting for safe overhead access
• Safety ladder removal and establishment of compliant access/egress points
• Reinforcement of existing structural columns for additional awning loads
• Welding and bracing works to strengthen existing framework
• Preparation and verification of structural connection zones
• RPEQ hold point inspections completed with Building Certifier approval
• Review and approval of all subcontractor SWMS tailored to a 24/7 live operational environment, including SIMOP requirements, exclusion zones, BAC testing, and hot works permitting
🔨 Upcoming Works:
• Structural steel er****on commencing with steel and rigging contractors mobilising to site
• Sequenced crane lifts and rigging operations coordinated around live site movements
• Cladding and roofing installation to complete the building envelope
• Ongoing RPEQ inspections at key structural milestones
• Continued SIMOP briefings and exclusion zone management throughout remaining works
