The builder has reached the exterior and interior finishes stage of the project. The rear garden landscaping and pool surrounds are being installed this week and the majority of building debris will be removed to allow better access for the finishing trades.

Dear Friends,
I have just completed a week holiday in Corfu (Kerkyra) Greece. I stayed in the Old Town district, near the Orthodox Catherdral (Agia Theodoras).
Corfu has a mixture of many cultures, ancient Greek, Roman, Venetian, French, British and Modern Greece.
Kerkyra is a Greek island in the Ionian Sea.
There is an amazing mix of Archictectural styles to experience while walking through the narrow streets of the old town, that surprisingly open up to lively pedestrian plazas.
Some of my highlights; The Old Venetian Fortress, walking around the Spianada Square, having a beer at the French Liston Building, walking through the narrow streets of the markets, Agios Spiridonas Church, a visit to the other side of Corfu to see the Monastery of Paleokastritsa, and Glyfada beach front.
There is a lot to experience in Corfu.

Ground Floor bricklaying was 90% completed by mid February 2025, however the owners have decided to amend the main staircase design in the entry foyer and make the walk in pantry wider to accommodate a dishwasher and sink cupboard. The staircase design will now be semicircular and spaced away from the load bearing brick walls to create a more floating sculptural appearance within the entry foyer space.

Today is Pi Day.
Pi Day is an annual celebration of the mathematical constant π (pi).

π= 3.141592.....

Pi Day is observed on March 14 (the 3rd month) since 3, 1, and 4 are the first three significant figures of π, and was first celebrated in the United States. It was founded in 1988 by Larry Shaw, an employee of a science museum in San Francisco, the Exploratorium.

However we must acknowledge the ancient Greek mathematician Archimedes of Syracuse (c. 287 – c. 212 BC) and his elders, who are credited with devising the first algorithms to calculate its value to a certain degree of accuracy using inscribed and circumscribed polygons.
Have a nice day.
