✨ New Financial Year, New Workspace! ✨

There's something incredibly satisfying about starting the new financial year with a fresh, organised workspace! Over the past few weeks we've been busy giving our workshop and stockroom a well-deserved makeover, creating a cleaner, safer and far more efficient environment for the whole team.

A huge shout out to Paul, whose organisation skills have been second to none. From rethinking our workshop layout to making everything more practical and workable, he's brought a fresh perspective that's already making a big difference.

And an equally massive thank you to Wendy, who took on the painstaking task of bagging, labelling and organising our fittings in the stockroom. It's one of those jobs that takes incredible patience and attention to detail, and thanks to her hard work we can now find exactly what we need, when we need it!

A tidy workshop isn't just about looking good—it's about working smarter, improving efficiency and delivering the best possible service to our customers.

Here's to a productive year ahead in our new-and-improved workspace! 👏🔧📦

Coordinating work on a busy ferry run takes more than just showing up with tools — it takes planning, teamwork, and great logistics.

We’re currently working on Vessel Talwurrapin, and making it happen means lining up quite a few moving parts. With the ferry operating on a tight schedule, we’re working closely with the Straddie Ferries maintenance team to carefully coordinate the process.

This includes arranging for the vessel to be temporarily pulled from service, organising barge transport to get our truck across to the island, and having a crane onsite ready to safely lift the unit onto the boat. Every step needs to be timed just right to minimise disruption and keep everything running smoothly.

A big thank you to the Straddie Ferries maintenance crew for their support and collaboration. It’s great working with teams who help make complex jobs run seamlessly.
