Well deserved & congratulations to every volunteers , the referees, & the players getting awards for their own performance, achievements, love for their footy clubs, & love footy in Group 9 Rugby League.🏈👍

Last night after getting home from work for my business, my phone was going off with messages & I had no idea what was going on the first message I received was from Craig Makeham & sent me the photo of my award then I saw on the group 9 rugby league Social media my name was on the 2026 Group 9 Rugby league club Volunteer of the year for Gundagai Tigers . I was absolutely shocked & my phone was going off with more congratulations messages.

I was over the moon, very proud of myself for what i have done as a volunteer & know that my grandfather Johnson Bowden who did a lot for his own footy clubs in The Group 13 Batlow tigers 🐅 &
in The Group 9 Adelong Batlow bears. 🐻
I know he would be very happy & proud of me like grandfather like grandson love footy, both played second row, & do anything for the footy club.❤️😇

Big thanks to the Gundagai Tigers footy club, the Tigers Committee, & the Group 9 rugby league love my footy club & love my footy.🏈🐯❤️

Last photo was taken at the farm Sandy gully 2018.
Time definitely flys by so quickly.
