I’m a bit excited! I think this might be my best embroidery yet. Yes the Blue wren is my favourite and I found this gorgeous blue organic linen Gorman dress to embroider on…should I do both birds? To be honest….yes I’m getting a bit tired of the intensity of embroidery so this might be the last piece for ‘The Boutique’ Anglesea Art Space in November. Just going with the feels, keeping it fun which always results in the best outcomes! ❤️

I had an incredible night VIPing with Geelong Heart Throb at Geelong Design Week fashion parade tonight. Such an inspiring range of designers, outfits, food, music and company ❤️ Lots of familiar faces and such perfect weather for the event!!! Geelong Design Week

Feeling great to end the week with finishing off the Yellowtail Black Cockatoo jumpsuit. It’s been a really challenging day with my son being so exhausted after first week back into the routine, but after his meltdown he fell asleep in the car which gave me a moment to finish this piece while looking at the view in Barwon Heads. It’s been with me the entire holiday and now it’s done! Love that I can visualise embroidering this piece while the Yellowtails flew across the sky in ! Everyone Wins! 🥇 😴 🪡

Are you looking for something wholesome to do this weekend? My dear friend Sarah from Sarah | Ocean Wave Breathwork is offering a Breath of Bliss workshop at the Bendigo Yoga Festival this Sunday the 11th of October at 12:45pm -The Fernery space. I attended her ceremony this week and was taken on a journey with her relaxing voice and clear guidance through breath and visualisation to open the heart. I didn’t know at the time but after just returning from our trip, it was just what I needed. I also need to mention how amazing she looks in her Freedom suit! I will have more available on my website soon after they all sold out at the Surf Coast Arts Trail ❤️

Yesterday I made a moment to see this stunning exhibition ‘Between Shape and Colour’ by Trevor Ah Hang and Nicola Cerini supported by RUT. and ArtGusto . The show is on until October 17th as a part of the Geelong Design Festival. It was beautifully curated and loved how the works complimented each other so well. Make sure you find the time to view this show!!
