Joey has Retired 🎉
HVCPS officially said bye to our great mate and long-time Compliance Manager, Joe Mantellato as he wrapped up an incredible 18 years with HVCPS.
Over the years, Joe has seen the business grow, change, evolve and he evolved right alongside it. Through every new challenge, new system and new chapter, Joe was there with his steady hand, knowledge and commitment, helping shape HVCPS into the business it is today. Quite simply, we wouldn't be where we are without his contribution.
While we'll definitely miss seeing him around the office, no one has earned a well-deserved retirement more than Joe. Joe wasn’t just our manager, he was family and a friend to all, often working outside his scope to make sure everyone had what was needed.

Thanks to everyone who showed up on Saturday night to celebrate this occasion!

From all of us at HVCPS, thank you for your loyalty, hard work and friendship over the past 18 years. Now it's time to swap compliance for quality time with the grandkids, enjoy a slower pace, and tick a few things off the bucket list.

It’s a Hunter Valley Concrete Pumping Service triple treat!

With an early start and a cracking sunrise to set the scene, three Putzmeister pumps were put to work on one of the bridge deck pours on the Raymond Terrace M1 Pacific Motorway extension, the BSF 56-5, Moli BSF 2110, and BSF 47-5.

Using only Putzmeister equipment and executed by one of the best teams in the business, this pour was always destined for success.

Well done HVCPS, keep setting the standard. 💪

The Big German 🇩🇪

Booms Up for Ronnie.
Today we remember our dear friend, mentor, and true legend of the concrete pumping industry, Ronald "The Big German" Muller.
26/11/1948 – 31/05/2026
Ronnie's passion for the industry was unmatched, and anyone who knew him knew his love for Schwing concrete pumps. He was especially passionate about pumping high-rise buildings, always taking pride in the challenges, the engineering, and the achievements that came with pushing concrete to new heights.
More importantly, Ronnie was someone who always had time to share his knowledge, lend a hand, and support those around him. His guidance, friendship, and generosity left a lasting impact on so many of us.
In tribute to Ronnie, we raise our booms high—just the way he'd appreciate it. These photos are a small gesture of respect for a man who dedicated so much to the industry and the people within it.
Thank you, Ronnie, for the lessons, the laughs, the mentorship, and the memories. Your legacy will live on through the countless people you inspired, the friendships you built, and the projects that stand as a testament to your passion and dedication.
You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Good to get the first pour-through happening at our Forster project with our Schwing SPB35.

We had a few challenges along the way, including a late design change that meant we needed a different approach on site. Working with the engineers, we came up with the Freestanding Counterweight Ballast Frame solution to keep things moving safely and efficiently.
Credit to the whole team for getting it sorted and making it happen.

HVCPS took on dual concrete drifts for an underground coal mine, and to be honest… this isn’t work for everyone. 1550m of line, 120m³ a day — most wouldn’t even want to look at it.
