The Team have been busy over the last few weeks commissioning a new 1500kVA padmount substation, just under 1km of underground 11kV cable, two 11kV UGOH's, LV underground interconnection and pillar, 7 new HV poles and reconductoring and a pole mounted substation rebuild.

Boys had a busy week last week installing 2 runs of HV 11kV cable, one run was 530m with 4x90 degree bends and 50m of underbore pipe which involved careful planning and monitoring of cable tension throughout its installation. Completed HV trifurcation on a new UGOH pole, 2 trifurcation HV sub terms, LV network cable install, LV sub termination and network pillar. Additional HV cable installed on an existing pole ready for outage to complete the trifurcation. All cables and terminations tested ready for outage.

As we come to a close for 2022, GMA would like to thank our staff, clients, sub contractors and suppliers for their continued support.
We set ourselves a five year goal of achieving our ASP accreditation in all three levels, we have achieved this in two and half years including our Integrated Management System being ISO certified. It has been a challenging year with highs and lows, however we have some new projects kicking off in the new year which will be rewarding for our group to be involved in.
We wish everyone a happy christmas and safe new year as we travel into 2023. 🚍🎄🎉
