Following from the previous video, we began forming large hollows suitable for Black Cockatoo's and large forest owls such as Masked and Powerful Owls.

Large and deep hollows of this size take the longest to form, taking around 200 years!
Where this process took only a few decades from planting to cutting.

Hollow bearing trees play a vital role for Australian wildlife. As they have become scarce initiatives like this can help support our most vulnerable species into the future.
