Hey everyone! We’re thrilled to share our latest project completion in the beautiful suburb of Killarney Heights. If you’ve been dealing with outdated overhead power lines that are an eyesore (and a potential hassle during storms), you’ll love what we just wrapped up for a local homeowner.

What We Did: A Full Overhead-to-Underground Transformation
Our expert team at CABLE CO handled a complete upgrade, relocating the mains from overhead to underground for a safer, more reliable, and aesthetically pleasing setup. Here’s the breakdown of the work we supplied and installed:

• New Overhead Services: Started with a fresh installation to ensure everything was up to code and optimized.
• Mains Relocation: Seamlessly moved the power mains underground, including:
• A 50mm underground bore for secure routing.
• 35 meters of new mains cable for robust connectivity.
• A brand-new Main Switchboard (MSB) to centralize and modernize control.
• New sub circuits to support expanded electrical needs.
• 40mm orange HD pipe for durable protection and easy future access.
• NEW HSC’s (Heavy Duty Service Cables) for enhanced performance and safety.
• NBN Upgrade: Removed the overhead NBN setup and converted it to underground, eliminating exposed wires and boosting signal reliability for faster internet without the clutter.

When standard reception wasn’t an option, our team engineered a 28-metre telegraph-pole-mounted UHF system—delivering crystal-clear Free-to-Air TV across 12 blocks and 56 units in harsh, uneven terrain.

The new design features:

✅ RG11 quad-shield backbone with surge protection and full earthing compliance
