Nobody wants holes cut in their walls. Especially when you’ve just moved in.

Pendant install in Kellyville today for a family who’d just moved into their new home. Beautiful fittings, but the challenge was getting the cable to where it needed to go without putting a single hole in the wall. A bit of patience, the right gear, and zero patching needed afterwards.

The work nobody sees is usually what separates a good job from a great one.

Strange lighting issue. Cause unknown… yet. Some jobs you walk in and know exactly what’s going on. This one isn’t one of them. Time to start pulling things apart and figuring it out. If your lights are doing something weird, flickering, dimming, only tripping at certain times, don’t ignore it. Usually means something underneath needs attention. Give us a call if you’re seeing the same.

Ground floor of a two-storey home, no roof cavity, no shortcuts.
LED downlights through the lower level today, which is one of the more involved jobs in residential lighting. No access from above means every cable run has to be fed, fished and finished from below. Slower work, but the result is the same as if there was full access up top.
We also patched up the holes from the old fittings, so the painter walks into a clean ceiling, not a job half-done.
The right finish matters as much as the install itself.

Lighting upgrade for a Kellyville Ridge home today. 360 sensor light for the entry, new pendants through the living areas, and LED downlights fitted throughout.
Little things matter. Working in someone’s home means treating it like our own, clean entry, clean exit and no mess left behind. Same standard whether it’s a quick install or a full lighting overhaul.

One of the things we love about this job is the variety, bathroom reno finishing touches one day, on a rural property the next, smoke alarm upgrades and switchboard work in between.

Would you have spotted this? 👀

New build in Box Hill. Owners moved in a week ago. Smoke alarm beeping non-stop, downstairs lights tripping since last Sunday.
Pulled some spotlights down and there it was, water pooled inside the fitting which exposed some average workmanship

New homes aren’t immune to electrical issues. If something feels off in the first few months, get it checked while it’s still under builder warranty.
