A lot of work happens before the first coat of paint goes on.

At Randwick Presbyterian Church, the team is currently focused on protecting the existing surfaces and preparing the space before the scaffolding arrives.

The painting works will be completed in different stages, so careful planning and protection are essential to keep everything running smoothly and preserve the character of the building throughout the process.

The boys are doing a great job on a very special project. ⛪🎨

A good finish starts with careful preparation. From protecting the surrounding areas to getting the surfaces ready for paint, there’s plenty of work that goes in before the first coat.

It’s the time spent on those details that makes the difference to the finished result.

All set and ready for spray in Bronte.

We’re working alongside .constructions on this property, and the preparation stage is now complete — surfaces protected, areas masked off and everything ready for spray application.

This is where good planning really pays off. Once the prep is right, the team can move efficiently and focus on delivering a clean, consistent finish across the project.

A proper finish is built step by step.

At this Clovelly property, the boys are working through the full preparation process — washing the surfaces, scraping away loose coatings, sanding everything back and only then moving on to painting.

It’s not the quickest part of the job, but it’s the part that makes the biggest difference to how the final result looks and performs over time.

Great work from the team on this one. 🎨💪

Working inside more than 130 years of Sydney history.

Randwick Presbyterian Church was built between 1889 and 1890 and designed by renowned architect Sir John Sulman. Today, it is recognised on the NSW State Heritage Register for its architectural and historical significance.

When you’re painting inside a building with this much character and history, the job isn’t simply about applying a new finish — it’s about respecting and protecting what has been there for generations.

That means extensive surface protection before the painting even begins, carefully covering floors, timberwork, furniture and the surrounding architectural features.

We’re using plenty of on this one to make sure the history stays exactly where it belongs.

A special space, and one we’re proud to be working in. ⛪🎨

A lasting finish starts with the preparation. 🔨

On this Cremorne project, we’re stripping the failed coating from the steel ring beam and capping back to bare metal using Peel Away 8, followed by thorough scraping, abrasion and cleaning.

Then comes the protective coating system, with a fresh-water wash down between every coat. Care at each stage, even in the details you won’t see once the job is finished.
