The best room in this house doesn't have four walls. 🌿

A full-length rear extension designed so the living space and the deck function as one. Throw the sliders open and you've got an entertaining area that runs the length of the home, sheltered by double-walled polycarbonate roofing, connected by curved concrete pathways, with a new staircase leading down to the yard.

Dark bronze timber work and eucalyptus VJ cladding finish it off.

Before and after: a full-length extension of this two-storey brick home at Castle Hill, transforming a tired rear pergola into a generous, light-filled living space built around indoor/outdoor living.

We demolished the existing pergola and window and door openings, re-graded the block and installed new rainwater collection before the new structure went up. The result is an expansive wrap-around entertaining deck connected to new curved concrete pathways, accessed via a new staircase and balustrades, with double-walled polycarbonate roofing pulling natural light through the space.

The entire home was fitted with new UPVC double-glazed windows and doors, finished with dark bronze timberwork and eucalyptus VJ wall cladding.

Swipe to see the transformation.

From demo to completion. The back half of this 1920's Newtown terrace was built from the ground up with features including polished concrete, exposed brick, blackbutt joinery and a palette of eucalyptus, pink and cognac. While the original front half was carefully refreshed to match in a way that would still honour the home's period charm.

Months of work. One very good result.

There's a quiet satisfaction in a clean pour. The Newtown terrace taking shape from the ground up, and this is the moment it all becomes real.

The bathroom in our Newtown terrace project. A study in soft pink and burgundy.

Blush mosaic tiles wrap the walls and floor, grounded by a deep cognac vanity and a matching wine-red basin. A tapered skylight floods the room with natural light, while a slot window frames the original recycled brick beyond. The freestanding tub and walk-in shower make the most of a compact footprint.

Proof that a small space can still feel considered, warm and a little bit bold.

A 1920s Inner-Sydney terrace, reimagined. We demolished the back half and rebuilt from the ground up by lifting the ceilings and carrying that height through into custom double-glazed blackbutt windows and doors.

The new spaces are anchored by salt & pepper polished concrete and an exposed recycled brick party wall, then warmed up with eucalyptus, pink and cognac cabinetry and curved porcelain benchtops on cognac-stained birch ply. Tapered skylights pull northern light deep into the kitchen.

Old meets new, and both got better for it.

Right on the water at Woolwich. A boatshed rebuilt for harbour life - exposed timber roof, custom doors, and a deck that runs straight out to the water.

Built to last, finished to impress.

A great build starts with a great frame.

Every joint, every truss, every cut on this Woolwich boathouse was done by our own hands. Framed up over Sydney Harbour and finished to last.
