🚧 ATTENTION WOODGATE!
We're planning an upgrade to the Woodgate Substation on Woodgate Road to improve the reliability and security of the local electricity supply, with main construction expected in early 2027.
In the coming weeks, early site works will begin, including limited vegetation clearing near the existing substation (marked area shown in image).
🦘 We understand the importance of local wildlife and will take care to minimise impacts, with works supervised by a qualified fauna spotter-catcher and managed in line with environmental and cultural heritage requirements.
👷 Further preliminary works are expected in late 2026, with more information to come closer to construction.
