Every fine timepiece deserves a key that matches its craftsmanship. We recently completed two Thomas Cole style carriage clock keys. Each one is hand-finished with slight variations, imperfections, and benchmarks giving them an authentic, traditional bespoke look.

Arthur Field, a Londoner who arrived in Tasmania as a teenager, established himself as a respected Scottsdale watchmaker and jeweller. His ties to the region were further cemented in 1888 when he married Ruth Birchall, daughter of well-known Launceston bookseller and stationer Andrew Birchall and his wife Harriet. Arthur was involved in his community, contributing to its workplace, sporting, and musical circles.
