Cabinetry complete at our Singleton owner-builder project đź‘Ś

The kitchen is now fully fitted off, including the walk-through into the butler’s pantry as well as the laundry and bathrooms.

Cabinets built by Geraldton Building Services & Cabinets, brought down from Geraldton, and installed on site by RCC.

A quick update from our Singleton owner-builder project.

The eave linings are now in, finished with the timber-look lining from Inspiration Wood, and the external cladding has officially been wrapped up.

What began as a steel frame is now starting to look like a home, and each visit to site shows just how much progress has been made.

Still plenty to come on this one.

For these homeowners, entertaining is a big part of life.

As chefs, they wanted a better connection between the kitchen and outdoor entertaining area, so the old floor to ceiling window has been removed and transformed into a new servery opening.

The framing is complete, insulation is in, and the Gyprock internally has been installed. Now we're just waiting on the custom servery window to arrive. Stay tuned for the finished result.

Yeah... water isn't meant to come through there.

If your ceiling starts acting like an indoor water feature, it's probably time to get your roof checked.

If you've spotted water stains, damp patches or the occasional mystery drip, don't ignore it. A small repair now is usually much cheaper than repairing ceilings, insulation and internal damage later.

A new project underway in Singleton.

We're assisting an owner-builder with the supply and installation of steel fascia and timber barge boards to an existing steel-framed roof.

The barge boards are now on, helping define the roofline and giving the home a more finished appearance.

Next up will be the eaves and external cladding.
