As Gippsland locals we are incredibly proud to have been part of this project with the Seaspray SLSC , who came to us for our local expertise. It was exciting to work with them to find the best solar solution including Australian made PowerPlus Energy batteries to ensure complete blackout protection for both their club and the wider community.

After experiencing extended outages in the past, including a period where Seaspray was without power for seven days, the importance of reliable backup power became undeniable.

Today, the club stands as a safe and dependable hub during emergencies and blackouts, with power security that ensures they can continue supporting the community when it matters most.

This incredible outcome was made possible thanks to AusNet Major Grant, helping strengthen community preparedness, resilience, and energy security for the future.
