Looking forward to seeing this expansion come to life! 🐾

📣 There are some exciting things happening at Alma Street Veterinary Hospital!! 📣

With high demand for our services and increased staff, our hospital is getting a little cramped and as result we are expanding! This will include some exciting new equipment and services 🥳

While we’re very excited about what’s to come, unfortunately, some disruptions and noise will be expected. It also means that our usual parking spaces in the driveway will be unavailable for a few months.

With construction work starting on Tuesday the 13th of October, some parking is still available at the front of the building during this time with extra space across the road, but if you have issues please give us a call. We completely understand that this may be an inconvenience, particularly when you’re visiting us with a sick, nervous, or very excited pet, and we’re genuinely sorry for the disruption.

We really appreciate your patience, understanding and kindness while the work is in progress . It won’t last forever, and we can’t wait to show you what we’re creating!

Thank you, as always, for your continued support of our clinic and for trusting us with your beloved pets. 🐶🐱🐦🐾

A Closer Look | ROCKHAMPTON DISPUTE RESOLUTION BRANCH

Now complete, the project introduces contemporary finishes within a heritage building, carefully navigating the restrictions and limitations of the existing structure while retaining its architectural character.

Detailed windows and high ceilings provide a backdrop to warm timber, layered textures and touches of blue throughout.

Psst.. we found Gerard’s weekend plans! 👀

On 18 and 19 July, Gerard will be taking on Relay For Life to raise funds for Australians affected by cancer.

Behind every diagnosis is a network of family, friends, and colleagues whose lives are also deeply affected. By taking part, Gerard is helping support vital cancer research, prevention programs and support services for those who need them most.

If you’d like to help Gerard tick this one off his list, every donation – big or small – will make a difference. 💜💛

We'd like to say the sketch sums up the evening, but the next two photos suggest otherwise...

A great night catching up with industry colleagues and celebrating the profession 🎉

Ten years later, The Terrace tells a different story than it did in 2016.

What began as a newly completed project has become woven into everyday life – its architecture remaining largely unchanged, while the life within it continues to evolve through changing tenancies and new experiences.

Revisiting the project a decade later is a reminder that architecture isn’t defined by a single moment, but by everything that follows.

Last week, we hosted Australia's Biggest Morning Tea in support of Cancer Council Queensland, joined by local businesses and industry connections.

Together, we raised $520! 💛☕

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, donated, brought a plate, purchased raffle tickets, or contributed prizes for our multi-draw raffle. It was a lovely morning for a very important cause.

Thank you to the businesses that showed their support by donating to our raffle - we couldn't have done it without you!

Today's morning tea comes with an important reminder: kindness matters. 💙

Our team is proud to support Do It For Dolly Day, raising awareness for Dolly's Dream and their mission to help end bullying and spread kindness.
