About us

KMG Excavations and Dingo Hire has been providing wet and dry hire of our plant and equipment throughout the Whitsundays since early 2016. We started out with our Dingo, and over the past four years have expanded our business and gained extensive earth-moving experience, including digging, levelling and trenching jobs for local businesses and residents.

We have also secured a number of Whitsunday Regional Council contracts, which involved removing and replacing road signs and cleaning out and replacing concrete culverts that were damaged during Cyclone Debbie.

We pride ourselves on our professional, safe and reliable service, and always strive to provide the best possible outcomes for our customers. Our hire rates are also extremely competitive as we are an honest local family business that aims to help other locals.

We have a 2018 3.5 tonne Kubota excavator, with 300, 450 and 600mm buckets, 1200mm mud bucket, ripper and rock grab, and an Isuzu FRR500 tip truck, which we wet hire. We also dry hire the machine and truck to operators who have the relevant licences. We also have a 2008 powerful diesel Dingo K9-4 mini digger available for wet and dry hire, which includes : • 200, 300 and 450mm post hole augers • trencher • 4-in-1 bucket • broom sweeper • rotary hoe • stump grinder (wet hire only) • ripper • spreader bar, and • forks. You can be assured that our friendly and experienced operator will be honest when quoting and carrying out the works.
