Here's an update on what we've been up to these past few weeks.... new concrete went down at our north side reno, along with gyprocking of all ceilings and walls. This is the first time we've created a space like this on one of our renos and we are excited to see how the market responds when we finally get it back on the market (that's a while away yet but keep watching this space!). We've also been out and about at open homes checking out how the market has responded to the recent government changes. Having sold a few houses since the changes, we've definitely noticed a difference so we wanted to see what it's like from the buyer's perspective. We were "exclusive guests" at some quirky renovator open homes and even hurried along to check out an auction in our area, only to find we were the only ones there! It's certainly been an interesting time out in the marketplace. Our big block north side reno is finally coming along. This large family home needed a whole new roof (trusses and all!) and getting someone who could do quality work proved to be challenging. This meant we couldn’t start any internal renos until the roof was finished…. while rain was pouring inside. Thankfully the roof is now fully watertight and due to be finished this weekend. Internal works are underway and we’ve gone from exposed framework for months to now having everything sheeted. For many months, the pool has been the best part of the property. Here are some progress photos which show we’re getting there!

Our “rock house” in Albany Creek has officially sold and settled!

What a transformation! 🙌 Check out the before and after photos. This was a huge reno. We're really pleased with how it's turned out. The new owner is very excited to be moving in soon.🏡

WHAT A TRANSFORMATION!!! You've gotta love a great before and after pool photo! 🎉🎉At this point, the pool is the best thing about this house 🙄.... but it's coming along nicely and soon the house will look as good as the pool. In the meantime, we will enjoy the pool view! A big thanks to our awesome pool man (you know who you are!) for a fantastic transformation.

We are delighted to share that our Albany Creek renovation is now unconditionally sold, with settlement scheduled for 14 August 2026.

We'd like to extend a big thank you to our amazing trades, our agent for their outstanding work, and our investor for helping make this project a success. We truly appreciate everyone's hard work.

Our "rock house" hit the market a few weeks ago and is now under contract. This renovation was a mission and took a lot longer than we planned and cost a lot more due to the presence of rock. The new owners fell in love with it because it was "move in ready" and in a great location. Happy viewing!

We're pleased to share that our Albany Creek renovation project went under contract late last Friday. 🏡

The Brisbane property market continues to challenge us, with sale prices coming in lower than originally forecast. The good news is that buying in this market will become easier. We'll continue doing our research to ensure our sale price forecasts remain conservative and as accurate as possible.

A huge shout-out to our amazing team and tradies for all their hard work behind the scenes.

We are delighted to share our Redcliffe reno is now unconditionally sold, with settlement being brought forward to 31 July 2026. This reno came to us as a rundown home which hadn't been maintained for many years. The new owner is excited about moving in and making it his own. We'd like to extend a big thanks to our awesome trades, cleaners and Suzie from Impact Styling for their great work! A big thanks also to our agent for navigating the new market conditions to get a result. It's certainly been a journey but his years of experience and persistence with keeping in touch with buyers is certainly what made it happen!

Hi everyone! We are pleased to share that our Redcliffe reno went under contract last Wednesday 15 July 2026. In our 5 years of running our business, this is the first time we've signed a paper contract so we had to capture a photo! Everything else has always been electronic via Docusign. As you may know, recent government announcements have significantly impacted the property market. As a result, buyers are (understandably) more cautious and properties are taking longer to sell. Our agent on this property has worked in similar markets before, so when the buyer called asking for a return inspection, he acted quickly, printed out a contract and took it with him. The buyer signed it there and then and the agent headed straight to our place for us to sign. It's due to go unconditional later this week, with settlement in 21 days - super quick! While the price differs from our expectations, we decided to move forward rather than wait for a potentially higher offer. In markets like this where there's a surplus of stock and fewer buyers, we don't want to delay.
