Check out this festering mess - a deteriorated join in cables that was stuffed inside a wall and plastered over never to be found again, except the dodgy join decided to "give up the ghost" and nearly burnt the house down!!
Consider this:
Dodgy cheap and nasty electrical work isn't worth it, you get what you pay for!
Or DIY gone wrong!

Either way it's not worth risking burning your house down.
