CCTV & security installers. Protecting homes and businesses across the northern suburbs.

A lot went into this one… and the before & after speaks for itself. 👌

This project brought together CCTV, video intercom, access control and networking into one integrated setup.

We rebuilt the network rack, installed the new intercom and gate access system, and even had a custom aluminium plate made to get the outdoor station looking right.

These are the jobs we love - a bit of problem solving, some custom work, plenty of attention to detail, and a very satisfying before & after.

Everything working together. Exactly how it should be.

A security camera should give you confidence - not flash in broad daylight.

If your CCTV system is unreliable, poorly positioned or no longer working as intended, it may not be protecting your home or business when it matters most.

North Side Security designs and installs professional CCTV systems across Perth’s northern suburbs, with the right equipment, placement and setup from day one.

A security system is only as good as the way it’s installed.

Cameras and recorders get all the attention, but what you don’t see matters just as much.

In this job, we were called in to upgrade an existing system. We found loose cabling, poor routing, cables wrapped around other services, and an installation that simply wasn’t built to last.

A professional installation isn’t just about making it look neat. It’s about:

• Following Australian standards and industry best practice
• Protecting cables from damage over time
• Making future servicing and upgrades straightforward
• Respecting other trades working in the roof space
• Leaving your home safer than we found it

We install every system with the expectation that we’ll be back in 10 years to upgrade it - not to fix shortcuts.

If you’re planning a new CCTV system or replacing an older installation, we’d be happy to help.

Ever wondered where everything actually goes in a proper home security setup?

We just added an interactive house to our website. Tap any device - cameras, alarm sensors, video intercom, the recorder, even a bedside panic button - and it shows you what it does, where it gets installed, and why.

Just have a poke around:

And if you'd rather we look at your actual place, the site check is free.
Local to Joondalup, Wanneroo & surrounds.

Your security system shouldn't buzz your phone every time a cat walks past.
Smart AI detection knows the difference between a person, a car and tree branches so the only alerts you get are the ones that actually matter. And the whole lot runs from a single app 👇
We're North Side Security - local, WA Police licensed, on the tools ourselves. We build everything on one ecosystem (Hikvision), so your cameras, alarm and doorbell work as one system - not four that don't talk to each other.

✅ AI detection - person & vehicle alerts, not every shadow or branch

✅ CCTV, alarm & video intercom, all in one app - one login, one place

✅ One notification centre, one installer to call - before, during and after

✅ No lock-in contracts, no monthly fees - you own it outright

Free, no-obligation site check. We'll walk your property and recommend the right setup - nothing you don't need.

Great security isn't just about the installation — it's about being able to use, understand, and rely on your system afterwards.

At North Side Security, we're building our Help Centre to give customers straightforward answers when they need them: using Hik-Connect, viewing your footage, managing notifications, troubleshooting common issues, and getting the most out of your system.

It'll keep growing as we add more guides, articles and practical support — based on the questions our customers actually ask.

We want you to feel supported long after install day. Not left searching online, not stuck with a call centre.

Have a look through our Help Centre 👉 https://northsidesecurity.com.au/help

Because good security should come with good support.

No eaves? No problem. 👌

One of the most common questions we get is:
“How do you mount cameras on rendered or brick homes without making it look terrible?”

In this walkthrough, we show exactly how we professionally mount CCTV cameras when there’s no eave access - including mounting techniques, cable management, weather sealing, positioning and the little details that separate a clean install from a rushed one.

Anyone can screw a camera to a wall.
Very few make it look like it was meant to be there.

We're now Hikvision Certified. 🏅

North Side Security has officially earned the HCSA-SMB - Hikvision Certified Security Associate (Small & Medium Business) certification.

What that means for you: the person installing your cameras, alarm or intercom isn't just experienced - they're formally assessed and certified by Hikvision themselves to design, configure and support their systems to a professional standard.

Same guys. Better credentials.

Most CCTV footage looks terrible until you actually need it.

We wanted to show what these cameras really look like during the day, at night, with audio, AI alerts and inside the app itself.

No subscriptions.
No cheap blurry footage.
No guessing who’s at your front door.

Just a properly installed system that works when it matters.

Based in Perth’s northern suburbs - send us a message if you want a CCTV setup done properly.

Another week done and dusted 👌

4 cameras in this photo… can you spot them all? 👀

This is what a properly designed system looks like -
full coverage without making your home look over the top.

Clean install. Smart placement. No blind spots.
