It can be suuuuch a pain when you have an RCD tripping and have to call a sparky, but in this case thank goodness it did or this could have been a very different ending 🥵

DID YOU KNOW…
Smoke alarms don’t last forever?
Just a little one here to install a smoke alarm in this garage! It’s not legally required in WA to have one in a garage, however this owner has just had a solar battery storage setup installed and wanted to make sure he was covered encase anything goes wrong!
It’s recommended that you test your smoke alarm monthly and replace the battery annually. Smoke alarms also expire after 10 years so if they aren’t in date, you risk them not being able to do their job! Simple check that could save you so much! 😬

It’s always the 1mm2! One of my clients this week had flickering downlights that he thought were caused by a faulty dimmer, but it was just 1mm2 hanging on by a thread and only making contact when it wanted to 🙃 How good is fault finding in 35 degrees 🫣
