Another week flies by in the blink of an eye. We’ve added a few more new services this week including keys for Jaguar E-Pace. The Jaguar dealer will quote you around $1500-2000 for a key for this vehicle. We can do the job for a much better price.

We can also offer flip keys for the new model Suzuki Jimny like this 2023 model we did today.

We can also program full remote flip keys for older Mercedes vehicles like this 1999 SLK230. Mercedes no longer support these cars so the keys are very difficult to find.

Sorry it’s been a bit quiet on here recently. We have been busy adding new items to our website and upgrading some of our equipment. This is vital to commitment to always keep up to date with new vehicle systems.

Just like this 2024 Haval Jolion we programmed an aftermarket proximity key to. The owner was not happy with the quality of the original key and preferred the non-genuine key.

This 2013 Lotus Evora S is a good example. Even the Perth Lotus dealer did not have keys for this car. We were able to supply cut and program 2 new genuine keys for it. Damm the supercharged V6 sounded good in our workshop too.

Got that weekend feeling. We understand the train line works are making it difficult to get to us. Please use Swansea Street to Forward Street and you will get to us much more simply.

To get to Swansea St you can access it from Welshpool Road or Oats Street.

Here are some examples of key we programmed in the last couple of days. Everything from a 2000 Mercedes SLK200 AMG to a 2018 Mazda CX5.

The owner of this 2015 Toyota 200 series Sahara had previously got an aftermarket key done, but at the time, could not get a key with the electric tailgate function. They then lost their original 4 button key.

We were able to supply and program a key with fully functional electric tailgate button. We go the extra mile to provide keys that meet our customers needs.

We now also supply aftermarket keys for MG ZS models from 2017 onward.

We constantly add new products to our range, like proximity keys for Haval Jolion. We programmed this key to a 2023 Jolion yesterday.

We also programmed this flip key to a 2017 Abarth 595 Competizone.

New or old it really doesn’t matter to us. We have programmed key for cars made between 1999 to 2023 this last week.

Toyota keys for newer models in particular are in scarce supply currently. Never fear we have stock of most models.

We also stocks lots of genuine Mitsubishi smart keys, as the look alike aftermarket ones do not comply with the new battery laws.

We can supply remote flip keys for older Mercedes Benz models like this 2003 SLK.

We also supply keys for E and F chassis BMW vehicles like this E84 BMW X1.

We have also been doing our usual crazy mix of car keys. We have been supplying lots of genuine keys as the global shortage continues to affect dealer supplies.

Just some of the jobs we had through the workshop this week. Global shortages of car keys continue, but we continue to search worldwide for available stock.

Toyota, Hyundai & Kia genuine keys are still in extremely short supply with many models on back order globally. Please consider getting a spare to avoid long delays if you lose your only key.

2024 Toyota Landcruiser 300 series needed a spare key and we had it in stock. Dealer said it was ex-Japan and could take 12 weeks to get one.

The road closure further up Bank St continues to create problems for customers coming from the Carlisle direction.

You can get to us from Forward Street. The best way to approach Forward Street is either from Welshpool Road or Swansea Street.

Just because the remote you saw on eBay looks the same, this does not mean it will work. This customer had 4 remotes that looked identical to his original, but all were wrong. We supplied and programmed 2 aftermarket remotes that work perfectly.

This Hyundai Elantra is another good example of this. There are approx. 15 different Hyundai keys that look like this. If you choose the wrong one it will not work.

Don’t waste your money buying remotes on eBay that will simply not work. Come see us and we can supply and program the correct remote or key for your vehicle.

The road may be closed, but we are still open. Bank Street is closed between Oat Street and Milford St. To get to us you will need to come down Forward Street from Swansea Street.

From Swedish cars such as a Volvo V60 or a Saab 9-3 to a Jeep Cherokee Sport or Jeep Patriot. We have it covered.

It was a bit of a Japanese day today with a real mix of cars. We had a Japanese Import 2020 Corolla Touring Hybrid needing a genuine proximity key.

A 2023 Toyota Camry Hybrid also needed a genuine proximity key.

A 2016 Honda CR-V needing a proximity key.

A 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander needing a remote key.

A 2009 Mitsubishi Pajero needing a remote key.

Now we rest! See you all next week.

This is the only information I could find on the website explaining the road closure on Bank St.

It is totally inadequate in explaining how to access any business further along Bank St past Milford Street. I will try to get a map of the rest of Bank Street showing how to access it and post it later today.

If you need to access Macmillan Mechanical, Koolline Electrical, Sevenoaks Catering or any other unit at 183 Bank Street, it can only be done coming from the Rutland Avenue side. You cannot turn into 183 Bank Street if travelling along Bank from Oats Street. More horrendously poor planning and management of this road closure.

ROAD CLOSURE: Bank street is closed near Oats St. The best way to get to us for the foreseeable future is via Foward Street.

You can access Forward Street from Swansea St coming from the Oats Street direction or off Welshpool Road.

Apologies for the disruption caused by the train line works. This will be in place until the end of the year.

We would love to say we always have every key in stock, buts it’s just not possible. Keys for some brands of vehicle are again becoming hard to source. Some brands have also dramatically increased their prices.

We continue to search worldwide, for the best prices on genuine keys. This means we can have them in stock, for customers who prefer to have a genuine key.

The new owner of this Isuzu D-Max wanted a spare key and so we had a genuine key in stock, ready to program.

Imagine getting a genuine proximity key cut and programmed for almost $300 less than the main dealer price for the exact same item. Well you don’t have to image it, because it’s a reality.

We supplied cut and programmed smart proximity keys to both this 2016 Lexus RX450H and this 2015 VW Touareg today. Both customers saved around $300 on their new key.

Then we supplied a flip key for this 2021 Suzuki Swift, as the original plastic remote keys are weak and prone to breaking.

Then an aftermarket flip key for this Toyota Kluger as the new owner did not get a remote with the key.

Then another Holden Cruze flip key, as the originals are prone to the buttons falling out and the flip mechanism break too.

When you call us for a quote, it’s important to know as many details as possible about your vehicle. Knowing the make, model, year and any part numbers printed on your key will help get an accurate quote.

For example here are 2 Toyota Prado keys we programmed yesterday. One is a 2020 Prado GDJ150R Kakadu and the other a 2012 Prado KDJ150R. The keys are very different and so to get an accurate quote we need to know the year and series GDJ150R or KDJ150R.

On Audi keys like this A4 from yesterday there is a part number printed in the slot where the key blade folds into. This one was 8E0 837 220Q but it can also end in F, M, D etc. Again these keys all look the same but can have very different circuit boards inside, so this detail helps identify what you need.

Back after the long weekend and straight back into it, with a few different jobs today. The most unusual being a remote for a 1985 Cadillac Biarritz. We don’t see many carls like this and it was pristine.

Lots of other jobs on our more regular type cars including a couple of Jaguars needing spare keys. A nice Jaguar X204 S-Type model R and a 2012 Jaguar XF.

We made a spare key for a 2014 Vespa GTS250 this afternoon. We carry key blanks to match most motorcycles and scooters.
