WE NEED YOUR VOTE ❤️

Our recently completed North Beach project, designed in collaboration with Prince Design | Interior Designer Perth, has been named a finalist in the 2026 Hart & Co. Kitchen Design Awards – Kitchen Design Excellence up to $80K.

The kitchen is also in the running for the Miele People’s Choice Award, and we’d love your help getting Prince Design across the line.

This space was all about balance — warm timber cabinetry, natural stone, textured tile, integrated appliances and a clean, refined palette that lets the materials do the talking.

We’re incredibly proud of the end result and of the collaboration between Prince Design and Mondo Exclusive Homes.

There is something satisfying about creating a space with plenty of complexity behind it, yet making the finished result feel calm and simple.

This fireplace at our recently completed North Beach project is a great example.

The soft curved form, recessed Escea Fireplaces unit and integrated joinery all work together as one composition, with the same Fango veneer used through the kitchen carrying into this space to create warmth and continuity throughout the home.

A lot has to come together to make something like this feel effortless — proportions, detailing, junctions, cabinetry and finishes — but when it is done well, the end result is beautifully understated.

Form, function and a beautiful material palette.

The kitchen in our recently completed North Beach project, designed in conjunction with Prince Design, is all about letting the finishes do the talking.

Natural timber veneer brings warmth and texture, paired with a stunning matt-finish marble benchtop and range hood shroud that gives the space a soft, understated luxury.

Behind the clean lines, the kitchen works just as hard as it looks good. A hidden scullery is tucked away from view, while fully integrated appliances keep the cabinetry seamless and the focus firmly on the materials, proportions and detailing.

A kitchen designed to be lived in — without compromising the architecture.

A great night celebrating the 2026 Master Builders WA Building Excellence Awards with some of the Mondo crew. 🥂

We were incredibly proud to be named a Finalist for Best Customer Service — an award we’ve been fortunate enough to both win and be recognised as finalists for several times over the past 10 years.

For us, customer service has always been about much more than building a beautiful home. It’s about the entire journey — the communication, the relationships, solving problems along the way and making sure our clients feel supported from the first conversation through to handover and beyond.

While it wasn’t our year to take home the award, being recognised among the finalists is something we’re genuinely proud of.

A huge congratulations to this year’s winners and all the finalists, and thanks to the Master Builders WA team for another fantastic evening.

Well… turns out we’ve had a bit to say over the years. 😅

Since starting Mondo Exclusive Homes in 2010, we’ve built close to 200 custom homes, been recognised with over 40 industry awards and finalist nominations through MBA and HIA, and somehow convinced 3,487 of you legends to follow along for the ride. 🙌

From muddy sites and early starts, to handovers, award nights, dream homes, design details, site updates and the occasional “how good is this view?” post… it’s been one hell of a journey. 🏡✨

And that's a wrap on our Sorrento project ✨🌴

From the Palm Springs inspired façade to the resort-style pool, every element of this home was carefully considered to create a space that is both beautiful and functional.

Designed around a centrally positioned pool, the home embraces indoor-outdoor living with strong visual connections throughout both levels. Thoughtful details such as the open-air resort-style entry, hidden storage beneath the staircase, dedicated pool powder room, generous scullery and carefully layered material palette all combine to elevate everyday living 🤍

This home is a showcase of what can be achieved when great design and quality craftsmanship come together.

A pool should be more than just a backyard feature 💦✨

At our Sorrento project, the pool was positioned at the very heart of the design, centrally located between the main residence and the garage. This strategic placement allows it to be enjoyed from multiple rooms throughout the home, across both floors 🌴

Whether you're relaxing in the living area, entertaining in the alfresco or waking up upstairs, the pool remains a constant focal point and visual connection to the outdoors.

Of course, great design is about more than what you see. By positioning the pool adjacent to the garage, we were able to incorporate a dedicated pump room, keeping equipment concealed, protected and easily accessible. Located alongside the external powder room, this area creates a practical poolside zone that works seamlessly when entertaining family and friends 👌

Beautiful to look at. Practical to live with. That's the difference thoughtful design makes 🤍
