7 weeks post Vertimow and the lawn is popping with beautiful colour and the stripes are the icing on the cake.
I've been maintaining this lawn for 4 years now and every year, with weekly mows, it's always looking the best in the street!

Spring in the Swan Valley kicked off today with a 400m2 Vertimow.
A few days after the vertimow, I managed to get back and take a few pictures of the final results.

On Friday afternoon, I thought I'd get in early this year to Vertimow my front lawn as I was too busy last year and never got around to it.
This winter, my lawn was sprayed with Spartan (pre-emergent) in April and it kept the Winter Grass at bay and minimised the w**ds in the lawn.
I also put down an application of Bailey's 4.1.1 late June.
I'm fully aware my lawn won't be green until late September but I have patience in the process and it's going to come back healthy and very low.

I just wanted to share a recent success story.
Last November I was contacted to take a look at a front lawn and see if I could improve the quality of the lawn.
I scalped the lawn back, applied Eco Emerald, Bio-wet and Top Dressed with an organic soil.
Since January this year, I have been maintaining the lawn, mowing it low and what will blow you away, this lawn has no reticulation!

Just a couple of photos of one of my clients in Mundaring whose lawn I have been looking after for the last few years. Kikuyu out the back in the paddocks and winter grass couch out the front. It's the best of both worlds.

Last November, this lawn was in pretty poor condition before it was vertimowed back to dirt. Here's pictures of before, during the process of Vertimowing and a few pictures I took today. Massive improvement and looking fantastic with fresh mulch in the garden beds.

This morning I thought I'd head up to my Nan's place to give her lawn a good coring as it's never been done for at least 30 years. A quick whip around the lawn on the Toro Aerator and it's gone from being rock hard to super soft under foot.
I've put down some Eco Emerald fertilizer and we'll have to wait for another 2 weeks to check out the improvement.
As always, the kettle was boiling and a coffee was waiting for me once I was finished ☕

Apparently it was 41 degrees today.
This explains why I lost 5kg in 10 hours whilst vertimowing, coring and top dressing 150m2.
Damn it was bloody hot and so glad the aircon was working a treat when I got home!

Well that's a wrap for Christmas week. Totally exhausted and looking forward to the next 3 days off work with my family.

About 2 weeks ago I visited a property in Tapping and scalped the lawn, cored it and then top dressed and below are the results.
Feedback I received was "It's the best he's seen his lawn in 8 years of being at the property."
It's always great to see such positive results and feedback.

Here's a few pictures from the vertimowing job done during the rain yesterday. It certainly added a few extra kilos to the waste and took a good 4 hours to knock it over (no pics of the back yard).
Looking forward to seeing the results in a few weeks time.

Today's coring job in Kingsley turned out to be a little more challenging than I expected. My small cam driven corer just couldn't pe*****te the rock hard ground. Well, I wasn't going to give up, instead, I brought out the big guns and started smashing out holes that were 60mm deep. Love the Toro corner!

A few before and after pictures. The client dug out a massive tree root that went across the lawn about a week ago.
Today's task was to vertimow and core the front lawn.
The back yard was cored and too dressed but due to poor light at 5:30pm, I didn't get any photos.

Luckily the weather held off for today and I managed to get this lawn vertimowed, cored and then top dressed in Landsdale. Tough work with the wet soil from Swan Valley Landscape Supplies. Looking forward to seeing this in a month when it greens up.
