2025/26 PRO DIRT SERIES – FULL SEASON WRAP UP
2ND OVERALL IN MY ROOKIE YEAR 🏁
What a season… honestly, it still feels unreal to say that we finished 2nd overall in the Pro Dirt Series Championship in my rookie year, and even more special to have picked up my first career feature win along the way. It’s something I never imagined would happen this quickly.
Coming into my first year racing Late Models, I had absolutely no expectations and looking back, that was probably the best way to approach it. I didn’t know where I should be running or what level I should be at, so the focus was simple: enjoy the opportunity, soak it all in, and have fun racing.
We got thrown straight into the deep end at Round 1 at Ellenbrook, where the car took a bit of a beating, but I have to give a massive thank you to Bryan Litchfield for trusting me with the opportunity to drive his TML Transport Revolution Racecar to kick off the season. To walk away from our very first Pro Dirt show with a Top 10 was a huge confidence boost.
For Round 2, I jumped into the Redline Racecars & Rollcages W11 Barry Wright Icon, which became our home for the rest of the season. To roll into Perth Motorplex for our first proper outing there and come away with a 7th-place finish gave us confidence that we were on the right path.
Rounds 3 & 4 really showed the speed we had. We were right in podium contention both nights, but unfortunately ended up with two tough DNFs. One from a punctured tyre and another from a one-off rule call that put us infield. Those results really hurt our championship hopes early, but from that point on we knew we had the pace to run up front every night.
Round 5 was my first meeting racing without Dad, who is not only my mentor and coach but also my crew chief, as he headed to Tasmania for racing. Despite that, we managed to finish 4th, which gave me a lot of confidence in my own driving and race management.
Round 6 delivered something really special, my first podium finish, and to make it even better, I got to share that podium with both my uncles. That was one of those moments that makes racing with family so rewarding.
Round 7 took us to Albany, my first visit there in a Late Model and under a qualifying format. Once again we showed strong pace, qualifying 4th and running comfortably in 3rd before overheating forced us to retire, finishing 9th (DNF). Another tough break, but still showing the speed was there.
Round 8 saw us back at Perth Motorplex, with Dad back in the pits, And it showed. The car was fast all night and we finished 2nd, while also gaining a much better understanding of car setup and race strategy.
Round 9 at the Bunbury Bullring delivered another special family moment, with an Oldfield trifecta podium after battling with Jamie for much of the race, racing family like that is something I’ll never take for granted.
Round 10 back at the Motorplex saw us caught up in an early wreck, but we bounced back to win the next heat. Unfortunately, starting deep in the field on a rubbered-up one-lane track made it tough to move forward.
Rounds 11 & 12 at Esperance and Kalgoorlie were probably my favourite weekend of the season. Despite tough luck in the heats, we grabbed another podium at Esperance before heading to Kalgoorlie, where everything came together and I was able to claim my very first Late Model feature win. That moment is something I’ll remember forever.
We also faced some bad luck during March Speedweek, including a DNF while running 4th, followed by finishes of 9th and 5th in the 100-lap National event, but every lap was another learning experience.
Then came the Grand Final, Round 13. We capped off the season with another podium finish in 3rd, locking in 2nd overall in the Pro Dirt Series Championship.
To finish 2nd in the championship in my rookie year, against drivers I’ve grown up watching and learning from and to also take home my first feature win is honestly more than I ever expected. I think it’s safe to say that’s an exceptional first season, and something we can be incredibly proud of.

A massive thank you to all of my sponsors and supporters who jumped on board this season. What started as a plan to do just a select few shows quickly turned into contesting the full championship, and that simply wouldn’t have been possible without your support.
Thank you to my family, crew, sponsors, and everyone who backs me this year has been something special, and we’re only just getting started.
